Welcome to Buffalo Ivy League Test Prep, Buffalo's premier test prep and tutoring company!

If you want to play for the New York Yankees, don't you think it would be better to learn to hit from the Yankees batting coach rather than your local Little League coach?

Likewise, if you want to learn to do well on the SAT and get in to a good college, don't you think it would be better to learn from someone who aced the test and got accepted at an Ivy League college rather than someone who didn't?

All of our instructors scored in the 99.9th percentile on the SAT and received at least a bachelor's degree from one of the eight Ivy League colleges. To put this in perspective, in order to qualify for teaching at Kaplan and the Princeton Review you need to have scored in the 90th percentile on the SAT. You would have to sift through 100 of their instructors in order to find ONE PERSON as qualified as our SAT instructors!   They also don't care WHERE you went to college.

Our current instructor received his BA from Harvard in Physics with Honors, an MA from Harvard in Chinese Studies, won a National Merit Scholarship, and was accepted at every college he applied to, including Yale, Stanford, Cornell, MIT, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, the University of Rochester, UB and Canisius, and received over $750,000.00 in academic scholarships. He is also currently on the Board of Directors of the Western New York Harvard Club. He has interviewed prospective applicants to Harvard College for 16 years. He has been teaching SAT review for over 15 years, and knows personally what it takes to succeed.

We have achieved an average of about 120 points of improvement in the Math and Verbal sections of the SAT for our students.   A recent student of ours achieved a near perfect score on the SAT and is now a Sophomore at Yale with a substantial academic scholarship.  Another received a $60,000 academic scholarship to his first choice college, Coe College.  A third student, who has a diagnosed learning disability and has always done terribly on standardized tests, improved his score from the 28th percentile on the SAT (which he took before working with us) to the 50th percentile after working with us, and is now a Sophomore at his first-choice college.   One of our most recent graduates improved her scores from the PSAT to the SAT as follows:  Math from 500 to 580, Verbal from 650 to 720.

We offer two learning options:  Prep Class and Individual Tutoring

We are currently enrolling students for our 10-hour SAT Prep Class, which will be offered early November at Unity Church, 1243 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. The class fee is $499.00, plus the price of two textbooks, which cost $27. Due to space restrictions, enrollment is limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.  We also offer one-on-one tutoring for the SAT and most academic subjects.

Individual Tutoring is more intense and is designed in 20, 30 or 40 hour programs.  This option is recommended for the committed and high-achieving student. The prices for these programs are as follows, and include tutoring hours and all books and materials: 20 hours ($2345), 30 hours ($3555), 40 hours ($4575).
